Design Team Week!! ~ Introducing Sue Peace!!

This is the week that we will be showcasing and introducing our fabulous Design Team to you!

Today we start off with the extremely talented Sue Peace!! Make sure you take some time and check out our gallery to see more of Sue's work!!

Hi!! I am Sue (aka Scrapmonkey) and am so thrilled to be a Design Team Member for The Scrapping Nook!! I have been "officially" scrapbooking for about 7 years, I am rarely without my camera and many times when we go out it's my camera bag I grab instead of my purse.

I have always been 'artsy' I guess you could say. I remember writing and drawing stories when I was little, I took art classes and sewing every year through high school, and I have always been obsessed with pretty paper!! When we were much younger my sisters and I used to horde stationary, never to be used because it was much too nice!! (Sound familiar?) In fact I think I still have some...

I love putting memories and pictures together on scrapbook pages. I don't think I have a particular 'style', I just kind of go with the flow, sometimes the pictures shape the layout, sometimes the paper does.

Outside of scrapbooking, I am happily married to my man Tyler...together 15 years, married 12 in October. We have 2 great kids, Robert is 11 and Grace is 9, and I have a stepson who will be 19 next month. They are very tolerant of their Mumma taking so many photos...

To support my addiction I am a Registered Nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, a job that can be very stressful and sad but which also makes me appreciate everything and everyone in my life that much more.

I live in Nanaimo, British Columbia, for those who don't know, on Vancouver Island north of Victoria. It is beautiful here, though I would LOVE to see more of Canada, right about where The Scrapping Nook is I think would be a good place to start!!
