All About Babies class - Monday May 30th at 7 pm

Join Jodi Wilton as she teaches another fabulous "All About Babies" class. She'll be using the "Little Yellow Bicycle" line - Baby Saurus and Tiny Princess!!

The boy and girl layouts will be very similar and we will do one double layout and one single layout.

Introducing our next Guest Design Member - Tracy Mittleholtz!!

We are pleased to announce that Tracy is our next Guest Design Team Member for May/June/July!! We look forward to see her creations and what she has cooked up for us during our online crops etc. etc.

My name is Tracy Mittleholtz. I'm known just simply as TracyM on the boards, because that last name is just too long to write all of the time. I'm currently living in Wiarton, ON with my husband, Brad and where I'm a stay at home mom of two boys. Noah, who is almost 6 and Ethan, who is 4. They are the centre of most of my creations.

I've been scrapbooking since about 1999, but got my first "new style" book in 2003 when I did my wedding album. Currently, I'm really into sewing on my projects, inking, painting and doing vintage stuff for my husbands grandma. I also have a blog that I get to once in a while to showcase my creations.


I'm very much looking forward to being a guest design team member for the next 3 months. This is my first venture at being a part of a design team, and it just may not be my last. It has been a lot of fun so far.

If you haven't yet registered for Destination Create, don't worry, we are still accepting registrations. We are planning a fantastic weekend of cropping, classes and comradery!

Caroline Lau of Maya Road will be joining us to teach 3 classes! Here is a sneak peek of one of her projects:

We also have Vicki Boutin scheduled to do two classes, and while we don't have a sample yet, we can tell you that she will be doing one layout class for sure.

Both of these ladies are incredibly talented and their classes are always full of techniques that you can use over and over! We also promise that the classes will be a lot of fun!

National Scrapbook Day!!!

Saturday, May 7th is National Scrapbook Day and we have lots of stuff planned to celebrate!

• On our message boards, we have an online crop with many challenges planned! Some challenges will be ongoing for the whole weekend while others will only allow a certain amount of time to complete
• In the store, we will be doing a make & take using some of our new Marianne Designs Creatables dies. The make & take will be available from 10am - 1pm at no charge.

What would a celebration be without a SALE? When you check out with your purchases, you will draw a paper token and that will determine the discount you will receive off your entire purchase of regular priced items (some exclusions apply)*. Discounts will range from 10% to 40%.

Unfortunately, due to limitations in our online store system, someone in the store will draw on your behalf. Please choose "Cash on Pickup" as your payment method when checking out and we will calculate your new total for you. If you would like us to invoice you through PayPal, please include this in the comments section of your order.
