I was just coming here to announce that we were going to reduce our search of 100 blog followers to 55 and here we are at 56! That's awesome!

Some April Dates to remember:

• April 7th is Niagara Scrappers. We will complete a 3 layouts (1 - pager and a single page) using the Bo-Bunny Flower Child line. Here is the single page LO that we will be doing.

• April 17th All Day Crop at the store. It's free and you will have access to all the tools in the classroom
• April 21st Copic Club. Have you heard of the Copic markers? Want to know a little more about them? Then come join us at Copic Club. There is no cost and you can learn from some of our resident experts on how wonderful these markers are.
• April 26th Designing with Deanna
• May 1st Carousel Album Class with Vicki Boutin

We also have bi-weekly online crops. The Nook's awesome design team puts together some fabulous challenges and Heather runs a fun game of Bingo. For every layout, card or altered item that you submit for the challenges, your name is entered into a draw for a chance at one of 3 prizes. So be sure to come join us at www.thescrappingnook.ca

I am also happy to announce that Jodi Wilton will be joining the Nook team. She will be teaching classes at the store. We are still working out the details, so stay tuned! Welcome Jodi!!!

Wow! Spring is in the air!!

The weather the last 2 weeks has been awesome here in Southern Ontario -- even if it rained all weekend! I'm loving it! Soon it will be time to pull out the t's, capri's and fit flops! I can't wait!



The store has been a buzz of activity since the Grand Opening. It seems that there are boxes arriving daily! Some of the new items that have arrived include:

• Prima - Flights of Fancy, Rasberry Tea, Watercolor Rainbow and Shabby Chic lines

I have to give a BIG thanks to Tara, Margo and Judi for all their hard work over the last couple weeks in getting all the product out so quickly and effiently -- and keeping the store looking great!

I am going to openly steal an idea that I just saw Jillibean Soup post on Facebook. I'd like to increase the number of followers to this blog -- even if I'm not the greatest at keeping it up to date!

So here's how it will work --> Become a follower. When we reach 100 followers, we will draw a name for the Bo-Bunny Flower Child gift pack with some Maya Road and Jilllibean Soup thrown in! So become a follower yourself - get your friends to become a follower and your friend's friends!

Thanks to all who came out to our Grand Opening on Saturday. Despite the not so great weather, we had a great turn out! As always, it's nice to have an opportunity to see some familiar faces again -- and meet some new people as well!

I was also very glad to have my parents here to celebrate the opening with me. My dad owned his own business before he retired -- maybe that's where I got the 'bug' from... lol Mom managed to get a few Make & Takes done, which was very happy about!

Thanks to all who sent flowers! I heard from many that they provided a lovely scent -- not that I'd know, since I was completed stuffed up! :-/ They will certainly be enjoyed!
